Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
A general term that is used to describe how a company positively behaves in the world, i.e. how it treats all stakeholders, including employees, the community, consumers, vendors, investors, and the planet. This broader definition has been in use for 20+ years. Alternately, “triple bottom line” or “environmental/ social sustainability” may be used instead of CSR.
